Summary:
Contents: A puppy "fails" as a hunting dog the first time out and is dumped. He then, alone, makes his way. He observes humans and their behaviors and comments on them. (The dog comments in human speech.) He has a rueful humor as he tries to get along with the humans that he meets.

Critique: I think it's delightful. I've seen lots of the folks described by the dog in the book. This is perfect for us cynical ones like me. This is a really fun read. It is not profound but there are some shrewd observations.
