The Weimaraner Club of America has an annual National Specialty Show:  

2004    Southern CA
2003    Warwick, RI
2002    Purina Farms, MO
2001    Purina Farms, MO
2000    Purina Farms, MO
1999    Warwick, RI

(We experimented having the Nationals in the same location for a few 
years.  Then decided to go back to a rotating location, East, West, 
Central, South.)

National Events, 2003:

Local Specialty & Sweeps - 2 days
National Specialty + Futurity & Maturity - 2 days
2 Obedience Trials, including Rally Obedience - 2 days
All Breed Agility Trial - 1 day
Tracking Test - 1 day
Hunting Test & Retrieving Ratings - 1 day
CGC & TDI - 1 day

(Some of the events overlapped.  We started on Sunday, and completed the 
Nationals on Friday)

Membership:  

Membership applications must have the signature of a member sponsor. 
 Applicant's name and address are published in the monthly magazine.  30 
days after the magazine is mailed they become members if no protests are 
received.

I would be very interested in seeing the results of your survey!
