Poll to Parent Breed Clubs

 

Hello, we, as a few AKC registered poodle owners, would like to take a little of your time  to find out how our National Specialty compares to other breed national specialty shows.  Be aware that we are not doing this under the auspices of the PCA (Poodle Club of America) but just as interested poodle owners.  We will send the results on to our parent club for their information to use as they deem fit.  We will also send you the results of our poll if you are interested.

1.      Do you have an Annual National Specialty Show? Yes

 

2.      If so, where has it been held for the last five years? Rotates around the country, depending upon local club hosting (Racine, WI., Oklahoma City, OK., Portland, OR., Lawrence, KS., Frederick, MD., Claremont, CA.,  Where will your next show be held? Lawrence, KS

 

3.      Do you offer performance events at this show? Yes – Obedience. Generally, cannot find a facility large enough to offer Agility.

 

4.      If so, which ones and how many days are devoted to each event?

 

i.         Obedience Yes, one day for parent club National and one day for local specialty host

 

ii.       Rally Obedience No

 

iii.      Agility No – host club this year was able to offer agility as National site was outdoors

 

iv.     Field Trials n/a

5.      What type of membership do you offer

 

i.         Must be voted in for full membership yes

 

ii.       Full membership (voting) and Associate (non-voting)
