1.      Do you have an Annual National Specialty Show?

yes we do have an annual National specialty show. we also have 4 regional specialties per year. 


2.      If so, where has it been held for the last five years?  Where will your next show be held? the united states is divided into 4 regions and the national is rotated every year from one region to the next. this year it was held in the eastern region and next year it will be held in the southern region. the regional specialty is usually held in conjunction with the national when it is their region. we are a national club only, we have no regional or local clubs. 

3.      Do you offer performance events at this show?
yes, a performance event must be offered at all nationals and regionals. it is usually obedience, but we are trying to offer more
 

4.      If so, which ones and how many days are devoted to each event?

  


i.         Obedience - is held on the same day as conformation.

 ii.       Rally Obedience- not yet as it is not a titling event. 

iii.      Agility  -we have had agility in the past and it was on a separate day. 

iv.     Field Trials- n/a 

v.       Others- we are going to try to have tracking and it will be held on a separate day.

 5.      What type of membership do you offer- at this time we offer only one membership. we are in the process of rewriting the constitution and by-laws and will offer junior membership, non voting membership for those who live outside the u.s., honorary or lifetime memberships. 

i.         Must be voted in for full membership- the proposed members are published in the club magazine or newsletter. the membership has 30 days to protest any name. then they are voted in by the board of directors 

ii.       Full membership (voting) and Associate (non-voting). see above 

iii.   Open membership (anyone can join and vote.)      see above
